Glass fusing is a warm glass technique where the glass is heated in the kiln to around 805 degrees centigrade which is just enough to fuse it together to create beautiful designs. If glass is heated to higher temperatures is will completely melt, the coloured glasses with mix together and the design is completely lost.
n.b. glass blowing is a hot glass technique using a furnace rather than a kiln
