Workshop Questions

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes I do. These are available for full or half day workshops and can be bought via the online store. I can email a pdf voucher which is useful if you have a tight deadline or in the busy Christmas period where post can be less reliable. I can also post a voucher to you or directly to the recipient.

What should I wear to a workshop?

Please wear closed toe shoes, even in summer. Glass in sandals isn't very comfortable or safe!

Be prepared that the temperature in the cabin studio can fluctuate depending on where the kiln is in it's schedule. I would recommend layers so that you can acclimatise as needs be.

Is there parking near by?

I live in a cul de sac with plenty of on street parking around. The parking bays are available for visitors but wherever you park just be mindful of my neighbours getting in/out, thanks.

How and when do I pay for my workshop?

Payment is needed within 7 days of a booking to secure your place/s. If I don't receive this I will assume you have changed your mind and offer the places to other students. You can call me on 01245 401118 to pay with a card or use Paypal, as a business transaction, to helen3977@tiscali.co.uk....the webstore takes you here too.

Can I reschedule my workshop?

If your booking is more than 6 weeks away I will reschedule your workshop. Unfortunately, I cannot reschedule or refund bookings less than 6 weeks away unless I can rebook the place. Please get in touch asap if you think you need to reschedule. helen@helenroseglass.co.uk

What if I have Covid-19 and am booked into a workshop?

Please don't attend a workshop if you have tested positive for Covid. I will reschedule workshops for anyone who has tested positive. Please provide a screenshot of your test if you are requesting this.

Is the studio still set up in a Covid safe way?

Yes it is. Please expect the doors/windows to be open to provide plenty of ventilation. Students are still sat a minimum of 1.6m apart and you will have individual boxes of glass/equipment. All students have pots of hand sanitiser available to use too.

Do I need a mask?

No, not at the moment.... this is subject to change if recommendations change.
